James had been finishing up his inventory for the week. as it was Sunday, and he hadn't opened yet, it was really the most opportune moment in which to do it. He had never been business enough to worry about petty larceny, and his 'real books' where locked away behind wards and mortal locks, so he had no worry of them. so the whole process was never all too long for him.
Of course, something happened that didn't often happen at any point in the day, his phone rang. brows when up and he picked up the receiver on the old device and placed it against his ear. "Good morning, Thank you for calling A Real Page Turner; this is James how may I help you?" his pleasant tone actually came with a smile, while the person on the other side couldn't see it, he thought it sold the bit pretty well.
"Sir, hello." his tone became serious when the voice on the other side."Pardon?"
"Sir, you cant seriously be asking that of me... I mean, it undermines everything we've stood for, since the council was founded."
"There are at least twenty other Wizards including a member of the senior council in the country, is it possible to ask one of them." and there was a wince immidiately after his words where spoken followed by a slacking in his shoulders.
" Yes Merlin... Yes Merlin, I'll see to it immediately, Thank you Merlin for the opportunity."
James placed the phone back on its receiver and plopped back onto one of thirteen comfy chairs he kept in the store face palming it up."Bollocks...... I suppose I should gather that tome on magic suppression before i leave today... wouldn't want to destroy anything expensive." and with a sigh James stood. and started up to his 'real books section' it was going to be a long, long interesting day.
