Taran had received a lull between his go-sees, when he thought of his newfound friend in the city, Astrid. She had asked him to take her to the masquerade ball, but he didn't have a stitch of clothing that wasn't Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein. That would mean he'd have to reach into his pocket for a few greenbacks to purchase a costume, but no worries.
He used the card she gave him with her phone number on it, and the phone rang and rang, until the ringing stopped and went to her voice mail. He listened to her cheery sounding message on the other end of the line, and at the sound of the beep, left his message to her.
"G'Day, Astrid, about that party. It'd be bonzer to take ya with me to the event. I just have to buy some duds for it, and I'll be all green." said the Aussie supermodel. He had met Astrid as she entered the shop called Violets looking for a ball gown for the masquerade party.
Well he kind of ran into her, hard. Knocking her to the ground. He was really sorry about it and took her out to Hard Rock Cafe to make up for his lack of grace. Before the message beeped at the end, Taran said, "I'll pick ya up at 8 P.M. 'round that time, okay. I've got to get back to work...I'm gettin' evil looks from the photographer!" He hit end call, and back to work he went, a cover shoot for GQ Magazine.
Astrid would be in the shower when Taran try to call her. She would slide from the shower to step onto the plush bath rug. Before wrapping her slender form in a towel before making her way across the bathroom into the bedroom. To see her iphone 4 blinking saying that she had a voice message as she would smile making her way over toward it to pick it up to listen to the message .
"G'Day, Astrid, about that party. It'd be bonzer to take ya with me to the event. I just have to buy some duds for it, and I'll be all green."
Astrid would grin lightly at the message as she would call him back after she got dress and hopefully he wouldn't be busy when she called back. So hitting the call back button she place the phone to her ear to let it ring ...ring... once he answer.
" Hey Taran it me Astrid . I'm just calling back to say I will be waiting for you at 8. I'm staying at the Windsor Court Hotel. The Penthouse suite I'll let the front desk know you will be coming to let you up. I can't wait for the party "

The cell phone seemed to ring and ring. But Taran was in an awkward position as he hung upside down from the limb of a tree, busting his ass for a good pose for the Hollister folks. It was bloody hard to keep a straight face as his body sinously moved along the branch of the tree, naked from the waist up.
By the time he finished the photo shoot, the call had gone to his voice mail. Hungrily, he grabbed a bagel with cream cheese from the table that held all kinds of goodies on it, and tried to pull up the voice message that had been left behind. It turned out to be Astrid, who received his message about the masquerade ball.
Brushing off leaves and debris from his person, he called back, and with a mouth full of bagel and cream cheese clogging his throat, he choked, and coughed through most of the message he was trying to relay.
'Bloody hell. Astrid tis me, Taran. I got yer message about the masquerade. I'll be at yer hotel, at 8 PM. On the dot." He added one thing though. "I may go tonight an' check the party out before we go together, make sure its on the up an' up. After all, we did receive the invitations rather oddly. Anyway....ta!" he ended cheerily.
She would hear the phone ring as she would pick it up placing it to her ear since he was calling her back from earlier. Sliding into a near by chair as she listen to what he was telling her.
'Bloody hell. Astrid tis me, Taran. I got yer message about the masquerade. I'll be at yer hotel, at 8 PM. On the dot." He added one thing though. "I may go tonight an' check the party out before we go together, make sure its on the up an' up. After all, we did receive the invitations rather oddly. Anyway....ta!"
Astrid would think about that. Before she would agree with it.
" Alright Taran well be careful when you get there you never know what can happen. Also give me a call when you leave so I know you are ok . Well I'll talk to you tonight..when you call me . Bye "
