ooc: This scene was done weeks ago. Unfortunately got lost in the midst of all the commotion of things. Log after the scene: Memories are Cruel
New Orleans spent in a cafe shop with Zoe seemed to be the only usefulness she had that night. Though the conversation with her friend was not at all what she anticipated. Zoe was very much distracted with wanting to have fun rather then understand the deep frustrations that were growing. Venus didn't fault her for that. Zoe was very young and inexperience with love. Though as she sat at the Cafe table alone, an observing Zoe dance with the vampire who seem very polite. Her youthful, spirited, partner in crime wanted to cheer Venus up by going out dancing too. Yet, it was virtually impossible to have fun when your mind became so loud with commotion. It wanted her to remember through the headaches. How much longer could she fight with this loosing battle that was suffocating her.
Night was nearing the darkest hour an she urged Zoe back to the hotel. Oh there was protest! Luck have it she negotiated pretty well to bring Zoe safely back into the Hotel. Charles seem pretty distracted with the new tigeress, leaving her virtually enough time to separate herself from their click to focus on what she and Zoe spoke about tonight. Trying to understand this dark secret within her? Could she set herself free? Quietly she pulled out a phone book discreetly and flipped through the pages slowly. Each councilor ad spoke about time for healing. Seems the sessions would take months. Months that she wasn't even sure she had to give. Nor did Charles deserve her mind to be cluttered. One singular mistake an she could miss seeing the enemy. Right now she felt like the weakest link.
Yellow pages flopped over to a page she reluctantly didn't think about. Fate being coy no doubt? The ad spoke about Mathew Saltavi who was a specialist in hypnosis. Who also stated that he guaranteed hypnosis can help memory loss. A satisfaction guaranteed? Well now there was light at the end of the tunnel wasn't there? He provided a twenty-four hour service that Venus concluded he must have many hypnosis experts at his place of business. That also was a sign that he got results to employee so many people. Ripping the ad out of the phone book. Venus voice nervously stated.
"Charles, I'm going to buy me some cigarettes. An some girl essentials too..." Not that she meant to throw him off her scent. Right now she didn't want him trying to talk her out of something she was now gaining courage to do. Would he stand in her way? Who know's --all she could justify him by what Zoe said her cousin is odd. (which made her fall in love with him because of that personality trait) Venus was confident that no one would question her leave of absence as it was never a discussion, or issue before. Grabbing her purse there was a brief inspection. Gun- check. Wallet -check. Cigarettes- check. Leaving the hotel room she walked as if she was attending her own funeral. Anxiety was her master now and he was beautifully chaining her to new scare tactics over coming out of this oblivious shell. Not to mention making her reckless when walking outside almost colliding into there people. A hand lifted flagging down a taxi. One was receptive to the blonde vixen no doubt wanting a attractive fair. Passing the torn paper to the driver she waited for him to acknowledge her request.
"Yeah I know that area. It will take about ten minutes" Taxi driver confirmed while putting the cab into motion. Venus nodded her head in appreciation before loosing her attention in the new cultural surroundings. There were church folk standing on the corner holding up signs protesting this was the devils city. Few blocks more people were filing into what could be described as a dance club. There was a woman who wore a dress Venus wanted. Yes that brought a smile to her face. Then passing a restaurant she observed a couple eating outside on a terrace. Venus pressed her head against the glass and palm to the window whispering.
"Charles..."The one man who strangled her thoughts every day. An caused her heart to intensify it's beating in his presences. She wished someone could take all this pain away. Take love's evil seed away. She felt smothered by it entirely. Pulling away from the window she noticed the taxi driver peering at her in the rear view mirror. When he was discovered he gave that apologetic reaction an focusing on the road. Why is it everyone looked at her like a product of meat? Can't they see she was intelligent, had a sense of dignity? Sure she could talk the talk of a flirt but there was more. A curse to having a body like this....
Cab came to its final destination. Venus paid the man a gracious tip before getting out. Adjusting her purse on the right shoulder while in the same duration her eyes survey the hypnosis facility. Window was brightly lit and people within were being greeted by a very professional hostess. Sign wasn't advertise like a palm reader it almost looked like a doctor's office. Now feeling more secure with her decision she proceeded to enter the place. The woman approached her with a soft welcoming tone an offered a clipboard with lines to fill out. Venus escorted the clipboard to a selected deep forest green chair. It was rather comfy she thought when conforming her posture into the plush cushion. A pen was easily removed from the clipboard holder an she began to write vigorously. Anxiety was now replaced with excitement. What would she discover? Was she a singer in her past life. Or did she work for a senior service place to help the elderly? Would she discover she was super rich? Venus felt all the more encourage an being swept away into this new found goal.
"Write down your emergency contact"Pen was tapped against the lower fullness of her lip contemplating. What could possibly go wrong? Not that she believed they would call Charles. Slightly hesitant she almost denied putting anyone down, but common sense told her to do it.
"Charles Geller..."His name was sweetly said while writing across the line romantically. Lastly came the phone number to his cell phone. Then paused when it asked relationship to the man. Not that he would ever know she wrote boyfriend. A white lie to make her feel better wasn't wrong? The hostess seem to be watching everyone with perfect hawk eyes. Seeing Venus placing the pen back in it's holder the hostess was upon her in one eloquent motion, and extending her hand out to receive the clip board. Offering it up to her she observed as the woman read over the problematic issues of the new patient in question. Her eyes glanced at Venus giving a head gesture.
"This way Ms. Amorti. You'll be seen by Mathew Saltavi." speaking politely about who would be handling her case."Since you require a bit more attention from your medical information. It will be best to see our top expert" Speaking about her case along the way until they reached the specified room. There was a large chair in the room. The walls were dulled in a comfortable, relax tan hue. No wall decorations, No windows and the only thing aside from the chair was a desk, candles, an a chair that was meant for the hypnosis. Venus lingered in the door uncertain what to do next."Take a seat and he'll be with you in just a moment" That statement brought her out of that feeling she was just about to jump off a cliff. The impact alone was just now creeping back into her gut. Before she could reconsider leaving the door was closed behind her.
"Shit.."Singular word came out knowing there was no going back. Pivoting about she walked helplessly to the chair and fell down into. Air inside the cushion protested at new weight drop. Though she had to admit this chair was damn near comfortable. Purse was dropped to the floor in between her feet. An palms masturbated the leather material on the arms. Finding this to be a perfect chair to recline in and read if it was made that way.
Her wait wasn't long when the door opened. The hypnosis who owned this business took her by surprise. In her mind the man was made to be old. Rather he looked like David Copperfield. Venus could tell he had the same reaction looking at his patient. He approached her with a hand extended out."Ms. Amorti pleasure to met you. Seems you have quit a case here. I'm not sure how extensive your head trauma is. But to assure you I've worked with those with severer cases should alleviate any worry you may have." He had a nice grip. A grip that was warm, masculine soft, that was a true pleasure to feel it for that short introduction formality. He escorted her clipboard to the desk. An she leaned forward to observe him signing off on the disclaimer. Meanwhile she adjusted in the chair to reacquaint with comfort again. Then Mathew spiraled about while still seated, using his legs to roll it closer to her. Venus swallowed hard.
"Venus" He now used her real name in a commanding way. Perhaps to make her feel comfortable an to pay attention to him and nothing else.. Venus was receptiveto this command by staring into his unusual eyes. They were domineering, an held a strange allurement to them. Wait she couldn't escape. Energy produce from his stare connected her to him. He's voice held a monotone that was dragging her further out of reality. Him, the desk, the lighting all vanished and in her minds eye she wasconsumed in darkness. All she could hear was her breathing an the guide of his voice that moved her through the blocked passages of her mind. Then various scene's so vast that it flashed like a strobe light. In this state she couldn't understand them but to her guide he was reorganizing it to retain it when she awoke.Who was screaming? A woman is screaming who is that? Then she heard her name being called out by a man seemingly in danger. Venus came out of that hypnosis state to see that her gun was held against Mathew's temple. Her figure was seductively straddling down at him. She could tell by the point were the gun was pressured she'd been holding him hostage for some time.
"Dear god Venus wake up"Sound of his plea's were so heart-felt at being put in a near death situation. Venus looked around not recognizing her surroundings at first. Venus looked down at Mathew realizing that it wasn't Tony. Gradually she got off him and slowly recoiled the gun away from his head. She could feel the sweat dripping down her body. Lower lip trembling at the amount of realization that now been unfortunately reopened. Venus stepped backwards replacing the gun on safety. She lowered down cautiously to down to her purse and pulled out money from her wallet. Tossed a few hundreds on his desk. There was no words to express how apologetic she was. How foolish she was to put this man's life in danger. Especially with her wolven beast that could have came out with her guard down. "Thank you.."Voice said imperviously. Was she thankful? No, she wasn't.
With speed that been gifted to her. The semi-trained wolven woman released herself into the New Orleans life. Down the side-walk she darted past people who were startled at the sudden burst of a woman nearly hurling them aside out of her own fuel aggressions. How far did she run until she located sanctuary a deep alley she found refuge from other people. Venus howled angrily as unsettled things set her into a fury. Fury knowing that Jenna was at the hotel at this very moment. A woman that she now felt compelled to pull a gun out on her and shot her for betrayal over a past situation so long ago. Loss of Tiannanow had come into realization that she had not mourned until now. Venus collapsed upon her knee's trying to control her beast an powerful confusion overwhelming her mind it was nearly winning.
"WHY GOD....WHHHHYYY!"grueling question came through her grinding teeth in disgust. She pulled the gun from her purse. She looked at the weapon in a welcoming manner. Safety was unset. It was pressed to her temple and she spoke to god for once. "You've taken a beautiful soul and made me out of control. Everything I've ever wanted in life you taken it away from me you son-of-a-bitch. I shouldn't give you anymore pleasure. This what you want. You need a ultimate sacrifice on your earth. I'm prepared to meet you! Hear I come..."
Now back at the hypnosis office Mathew had called Geller to inform him. " Yes, hello Mr Geller? This is Mathew Saltavi from the hypnosis clinic. Your girlfriend Venus Amorti visited me to help recover some loss memory. I was leery with such a case. Her session did not go well. During the recovery method the memory came to fast that I couldn't stabilize her. During sessions people can cling to their most darkest fears. It seems her fears pulled a gun out at me calling me Tony. Someone you know? I'm worried that your girlfriend is in mental danger. Which could cause harm to herself or to others. She's gave me no time to help her come out of her session for recovery. To much information makes one reckless to their surroundings. Do you want me to call the police to make a search for her?"He said still shaken by the experience. He still couldn't believe how powerful she was.
